When John and Marlene contacted me regarding their wedding, I knew I was in for a treat. Having worked with them before, I was delighted to know that I will be able to capture more of their chemistry and their connection. The first location, Guildwood park, gave us a great setting for glamorous shots, a romantic love walk, and beautiful light. After stopping shortly for a bite with the couple, we got to roll up our pants and took off to Bluffer’s Park Beach, where we were able to get a ton of fun shots despite the creep of some chilly weather as the evening closed in.

Indian fall wedding | r+b wedding album

We started the day with a beautiful traditional Hindu ceremony in Etobicoke, We then left to Toronto High Park for some photos. The contrast between Rani’s (Shakuntala) intricate pink traditional dress and the amazing fall colors produced some of the most beautiful and colorful wedding photos. The weather was perfect, red, orange, and yellow leaves covered both the trees and the ground, and we had a good amount of time to have fun and get some great photos. Finally, we headed back to the banquet hall for the reception.

Toronto Ward’s Island | R+B Engagement Session

This engagement session was taken at one of my favorite places to shoot in Toronto. Although it is geographically right next to Centre Island, Ward’s island is nothing like it’s sister island. It is a serene place where friendly people live. It has many spots for taking beautiful photos, a gorgeous beach, a fantastic view of Toronto’s skyline, and most importantly, amazing golden sunsets. Rani and Biren warmed up to my photography style quickly, and became completely natural in front of the camera, this allowed me to capture some beautiful candids. Gabriella | Newborn Baby Photography Toronto

Toronto Harbourfront | Sandy & Pierre

Following a beautiful ceremony surrounded by close family and friends, I headed off with Pierre and Sandy to Toronto’s harbourfront for some quick photos. Parking was impossible, as always the case in downtown Toronto, so both my car and the limousine had to park in a tow zone. With only a few minutes to work with, we managed to get some of our most favorite photos of 2010.

Richmond Hill summer day | Peter & Maggie

I’ve been so excited to share these photos since that beautiful summer day when I shot them. The timing was great, we got to the park just in time for nice afternoon shots. I had worked with Peter and Maggie before, so they were already warmed up to my camera, and I was able to get one great shot after another. Best of all, although this was a big day for them, they seemed at ease, and there wasn’t a hint of stress in the air.

Our Snazzy Business Cards

To compliment our unique services, we reached out to our designers and good friends at PH Design and Illustration for new cards. The result is a business card that defines our visual identity. The front of the card is beautifully decorated with our motif, and the back of the card has 6 different versions showcasing our work. Clients that have been to my office recently can’t resist but take all 6 different cards. We’re pretty excited about them, and by the way things are going, it looks like we might have to make another print run soon. NJPQQQRKFTJQ

Maggie & Peter Airport Engagement

7 jobs to finish in 5 months. That’s where we’ve been the last while. So let’s get straight to it and start things off with a bang. While we were in the car with Maggie and Peter heading downtown to take a few shots for their pre-engagement, we passed by the Toronto Buttonville Municipal Airport. I threw out there the idea that I’d love to shoot there, and I asked Peter if he knew anyone who worked there. He quickly pulled into the airport’s packing lot, and said that he was going in to look for someone in there that he knows. Five minutes later, he came out and said, “C’mon let’s do it.” We didn’t have a lot of time inside, but we got to take some great shots next to single and double engine small planes which gave these shots a unique flavor.
